Bastet is a Linux distribution meant to provide a minimalistic system with hardened security and a comprehensible desktop environment. Balancing safety and privacy with ease of use, Bastet is suitable for both professionals and everyday users.

Upon installation separate root and home disk partitions are created and LUKS encrypted. All users and partitions are protected with individualy generated random passphrases. Each one of those are "locked" into disk using the secure password manager (spmg).

With its custom PAM modules, Bastet supports su, sudo, login and lock screen authentication using a single password.

Multi-password configurations for even more enhanced security are planned for future releases.
